In simpler terms, it shows the popularity of a search term in Google, and it enables one to search if a trend is rising or declining. It also allows users to find demographic insights, related topics and queries.

How to use Google Trends?
To use Google Trends, you need to select a country you want to see the statics for and enter a keyword into the search bar or select a provided example. After that, you will be able to see the “Interest over time”, which means, the search popularity over time of that term. You will also be able to access a breakdown of the term searched by subregions of the country.
You can also compare two terms, by selecting the “+Compare” button beside the original search term.
