Lottie Files

The Lottie Files were named after the German film director and silhouette animation pioneer Charlotte "Lotte" Reiniger.

Lottie files are commonly used for animated graphics and illustrations. Using Adobe After Effects, these files can be exported as JSON files that can be easily embedded into web and mobile applications, such as in eBooks, games, and other digital media.

Adding high-quality, interactive animations to websites and applications with Lottie files is easy because they are lightweight and scalable. In contrast to traditional GIFs and videos, Lottie files are vector-based, so they are scalable without compromising quality. No matter what platform or device you export Lottie files to, they maintain high quality output. Additionally, no adjustments are required for Android, iOS, or the web to use them.

Lottie files are also easily editable and customisable using Adobe After Effects. As a result, designers and developers can create original and engaging animations customised to meet their specific branding and design needs.

React, Vue, iOS, Android, and other web and mobile platforms, among others, use Lottie files. They are therefore a flexible choice for developing interactive and dynamic user interfaces that improve the user experience.
